Artisans in India use a clamp-dyeing technique to pattern our skirt with bold lines, dyed over a woven vertical stripe. The wrap silhouette is accented by an off-centre tie, with concealed buttons to secure the front. The clamp-dyeing technique consists of the fabric being folded and clamped between wooden blocks before it is dyed, unfolding to reveal a unique pattern that varies from piece to piece.
